Banksia Marginata Silver Banksia – 14cm

Australian Native

Evergreen

Banksia marginata is an Australian native evergreen with an upright habit, reaching 2 to 4 m high and wide. Habit varies from a dense shrub to a small tree. The leaves are dark green above with silvery undersides, and they flash silver in the wind. Lemon-yellow flower spikes appear for much of the year, with the heaviest flowering from late summer through winter.

It suits screens, informal hedges and mixed native plantings, and the flowers attract nectar-feeding birds and insects. Plant it in well-drained soil in sun or semi shade. It tolerates coastal conditions and, once established, copes with dry spells. Light tip pruning after flowering keeps it dense.

A hidden GEM! 💎 only 14 mins from home.
The customer service was the first thing I noticed, that worth the 5 starts by itself! The level of care they showed me was unmatched, we had a great couple of chats.
The prices are unmissable and the plant quality is lovely. Very lively healthy blooms everywhere.
Leroy the Cavoodle was on duty and was super cute and came up to me for a little snuggle every now and then.
I will DEFINITELY be spending lots more time and $ here!!
Thank you very much.
