Dietes bicolor African Iris – 14cm

Evergreen

Dietes bicolor is an evergreen, tufting perennial native to South Africa. Upright, lime-green, strap-like leaves form a dense clump that reaches 60cm to 1m high and wide. Pale yellow, iris-like flowers appear in spring and continue through summer.

It suits mass planting for a showy display, can be dotted through mixed borders, or can be used as a low, informal hedge. It grows best in semi shade in well-drained soil, and once established it copes with relatively dry conditions. The foliage stays tidy year-round, which makes it useful for filling garden beds.

A hidden GEM! 💎 only 14 mins from home.
The customer service was the first thing I noticed, that worth the 5 starts by itself! The level of care they showed me was unmatched, we had a great couple of chats.
The prices are unmissable and the plant quality is lovely. Very lively healthy blooms everywhere.
Leroy the Cavoodle was on duty and was super cute and came up to me for a little snuggle every now and then.
I will DEFINITELY be spending lots more time and $ here!!
Thank you very much.
