Eucalyptus obliqua Messmate stringybark – 14cm

Australian Native

Evergreen

Eucalyptus obliqua is a large, fast growing Australian native tree with an upright habit and evergreen foliage. It reaches 10 m or more in height and 4 to 10 m wide, though final size varies with water availability and soil conditions. The thick, fibrous brown bark gives it the common name stringybark.

White flowers appear in summer and provide nectar for native birds and bees. It suits full sun and does well in loam, including wet and heavy soils. Best used as a feature, shade or windbreak tree on larger properties, farms and revegetation plantings where there is room for its full spread.

A hidden GEM! 💎 only 14 mins from home.
The customer service was the first thing I noticed, that worth the 5 starts by itself! The level of care they showed me was unmatched, we had a great couple of chats.
The prices are unmissable and the plant quality is lovely. Very lively healthy blooms everywhere.
Leroy the Cavoodle was on duty and was super cute and came up to me for a little snuggle every now and then.
I will DEFINITELY be spending lots more time and $ here!!
Thank you very much.
