Syzygium australe Winter Lights – 30cm

Australian Native

Evergreen

Syzygium australe Winter Lights is an evergreen Australian native with an upright, narrow habit, reaching 2 to 4 metres tall and wide. New growth emerges bright red and ages to glossy green, so the foliage keeps colour through the year. Fluffy white flowers appear in the warmer months and are followed by purple berries that attract birds.

Unlike many lilly pillies, it is resistant to psyllids, which cause bumpy, distorted leaves. It suits hedging, screening, topiary or use as a small feature tree. Grow it in semi shade in well drained soil, and trim to shape after new growth for a dense, even finish.

A hidden GEM! 💎 only 14 mins from home.
The customer service was the first thing I noticed, that worth the 5 starts by itself! The level of care they showed me was unmatched, we had a great couple of chats.
The prices are unmissable and the plant quality is lovely. Very lively healthy blooms everywhere.
Leroy the Cavoodle was on duty and was super cute and came up to me for a little snuggle every now and then.
I will DEFINITELY be spending lots more time and $ here!!
Thank you very much.
